Owner/Head Coach

Michelle Benedict

Michelle received her degree in Exercise Physiology from BYU and was a collegiate athlete who specialized in strength and conditioning and the treatment of sports related injuries. She excels in Olympic Weightlifting and Crossfit methodology.

 

She coaches athletes of various levels of ability to success through a variety of protocols.  She has traveled all over the country with CrossFit USA Weightlifting Coaches and has also been a part of the CrossFit Gymnastics team as an assistant coach, coaching through out the world.  She has designed High School Football, Baseball, Cheer and Soccer Programs to kids of various ages and levels.  She enjoys working with the very beginner to the Games-Level competitor.

 

She has had the pleasure of working with athletes at CrossFit NC, CrossFit Cape Fear, Performance Chiropractic,  CrossFit Southern Pines, and was the original founder of  CrossFit Fort Bragg, CrossFit Kids Fort Bragg, and Fayetteville Weightlifting Club.  Michelle continues to develop coaches as she believes this is true success when the student becomes the teacher. Michelle doesn’t see failure as a set back she believes its when we fail we begin to grow.

 

Michelle has competed in the 2009 and 2010 CrossFit Reebok Games.  Michelle, placed 6th in 2012 CrossFit Reebok Mid Atlantic Regionals.  She also assisted her team in the 2013 CrossFit Regionals while she was 6 1/2 months pregnant.

Crossfit Level I and II, USA Weightlifting Club Coach, CrossFit Rowing, CrossFit Kettle Bell, CrossFit Gymnastics, Pose Running Coaches, Catalyst Athletics, CrossFit USA Weightlifting, and CrossFit Kids Coaching, Michelle is also a certified National Health Coach.
